Lunch cooking class

A pleasant walk through the village of Cabras with Daniela Meloni a passionate local cook in order to discover the town’s history and cultural aspects, reflected in its special foods and recipes.

We’ll visit typical fish mongers with locally caught Mediterranean fish, learning to recognize the best ones for our taste, greengrocers with organic vegetables from their local ‘orti’, bakeries with freshly baked regional breads, providing you with an active and colourful exercise to find the best and freshest ingredients for our cooking lesson and lunch.

A three-hour cooking lesson during which you’ll learn about typical Sardinian and Cabras recipes. These will be explained with culinary stories of ingredients and methods of cooking. You’ll get to apply these in different recipes on your own, to match flavours and combine dishes, sometimes with modern influences acquired while travelling around the world.

At the end, we will have a superb lunch cooked by yourselves, probably the best of your whole holiday.

Beginning 9 am. end 1 pm. Group size minimum 4 people. On request, lessons can be made for one or two people.

Dinner cooking class

A three-hour cooking lesson during which you’ll learn about typical Sardinian and Cabras recipes, most of them with bottarga and fish.

These will be explained with culinary stories of ingredients and methods of cooking.

You’ll get to apply these in different recipes on your own, to match flavours and combine dishes, sometimes with modern influences acquired while travelling around the world.

At the end, we will have a superb dinner cooked by yourselves, probably the best of your holiday.

Group size minimum 4 people. On request, lessons can be made for one or two people.
