Our philosophy is to gather energy from nature through activities at sea; sailing, snorkelling, stand-up paddling, wave riding, and activities along the shores; hiking, mountain biking, contemplation, and of course…through good food.
Naturawentura is Giangi Chiesura, born in 1965, he grew up in the sea waters and depths of the island of Mal Di Ventre. As a pioneering precursor, he discovered and explored the waves and winds of the legendary Capo Mannu promontory. Windsurf, kitesurf and surf allowed him to spend half of his life on the water. Water that influenced all his studies and life choices, transposing his deep passion for the sea and the Sinis area in his work: From sea to mountains. Trekking, free climbing, canyoning, mountain biking. By following his interests, he keeps discovering and experiencing his island. Since 1994, he has put his experience to the benefit of others. He became Environmental Excursionist Guide and founded Naturawentura. On his father footsteps, he specialized in photography and video production too, creating the brand Photodream, that produces photo reportages and videos for well-known magazines and TVs in Italy and abroad.
In 2015 he purchased the sailing ketch Fokuko, Taipei 36 ketch of 1976, on which he sailed as a young boy, and he made it into his refuge to safeguard the best memories and gifts of the sea.
He collaborates with the Sport association Limolo Activiies to promote sailing and other sea sports through programmes of active and ecological tourism and sport therapy.
The Sport Association Limolo Activities aims at promoting sports through active and ecosostenible tourism, with special attention to sea activities, sailing navigation and other practices for sport therapy. Founded in 2015 by a group of friends sharing the same passion and several past experiences at sea, Limolo Actvities restores the Sparkman & Stephens Galatea 1973, returning it to the sea to be used for introductory sailing and navigation courses, short regattas, activities of team building and sport therapy. Since 2016, Limolo Activities has joined forces with Naturawentura in a pleasant and enriching exchange of passions and competences.
President of Limolo Activities is Daniela Meloni, born in 1973, she grew up between the coast and the island of Mal di Ventre. Fascinated by classic boats, she raced all across the Mediterranean on some of the most famous and beautiful of them, learning from skippers and captains of excellence. Presently, she is conveying all that experience in her new job.
Daniela also attended and collaborates with “Accademia di Casa Puddu”, the cookery school of Chef Roberto Petza, adding to the Association programmes a special attention to cooking and nutrition, as important contributors to health, wellbeing and cultural enrichment.
